A video of a junior high school bully assaulting a student went viral on social media. The bully cornered the student in a comfort room and punched him in the nose which started bleeding.
When this became viral, netizens called out Ateneo de Manila University to take action which is taking too long.
Sen. Sherwin raises idea for Ateneo bully’s punishment.
Senator Sherwin Gatchalian thought of an idea to punish the Ateneo bully. He noted that the bully should have one-on-one with the boxing chanpion, Senator Manny Pacquiao.

A reporter asked which would be better: having Sen. Manny to pray him over or to punch him. Sen. Sherwin, then, pointed out that they should just have a one-on-one.

Sen. Sherwin hopes the parents should play an active role.
Gatchalian noted that parents should be responsible in playing an active role to discipline their children.
“The parents need to play an active role to make sure that their children are disciplined members of our communities. Responsibilidad yan nga mga magulang. Sila ang dapat managot sa ginagawa ng kanilang mga anak.”

Ateneo has yet to reprimand the bully.
