Prince of Pop Erik Santos reinforces his foothold as Philippines’ “OST King” as he becomes the first featured artist on OST TV—Star Music’s new online channel on popular video player and content discovery platform dailymotion.
“I’m very happy and grateful to be chosen as the first featured artist of Star Music’s OST TV for dailymotion. It’s a humbling experience to even be considered because there’s a lot of great artists who also sing movie and teleserye soundtracks like me. I still feel elated everytime I hear my songs played for our movies and teleseryes, ” Erik shared.
Touted as the Kapamilya balladeer with the most number of teleserye and movie theme songs, Erik will wow dailymotion’s site visitors with soundtrack favorites for OST TV.
He is also slated to introduce his new album in January—a collection of his teleserye and film OST hits in collaboration with artists he has worked with for the past 15 years—with tracks that will soon be available on dailymotion.
Aside from Erik’s songs, the new OST TV provides a full library of Star Music’s original soundtracks—featuring Kapamilya theme songs in films and teleseryes—as both dailymotion and ABS-CBN strive to bring Filipino music to a wider range of audiences across the globe with this endeavor.
