Barbie Forteza has remained faithful to her home network since she became a Kapuso actress.
GMA Network has accepted her some 10 years back when she was first known for her portrayal as a young Jodie in the 2009 Filipino adaption of “Stairway to Heaven.”
For the past 10 years, Barbie has been one of the Kapuso network’s most influential actresses, even named as “Tween Queen” during his early showbiz days.

When Barbie was randomly asked about leaving the Kapuso network, she said “Ibinabalik naman sa akin ng management and ng network yung loyalty ko sa kanila.
“Parang hindi ko naman kasi nai-imagine yung sarili ko sa ibang network, parang Kapuso talaga ako. E, sila yung unang nagtiwala sa akin, sila yung unang nagbigay sa akin ng chance, kasi gusto ko talagang mag-artista. Hindi ako actually sa GMA agad nag-audition, nag-audition din ako sa iba, pero GMA ang tumanggap sa akin so bakit ako aalis, e, sila yung nagtiwala sa akin?”
