The 17-year-old singer-performer Darren Espanto during the media event for his upcoming concert alongside Jona and Lani Misalucha; did not manage to escape from answering questions related to JK Labajo’s much-talked about cursing incident that happened at the Rakrakan Festival.
“Para po sa akin, I’d say I’m not the right person na sumagot po dito right now,” he said.
Rakrakan Festival is known as the country’s biggest, loudest, and and most exciting all-OPM festival.
Despite him trying to avoid answering questions related to cursing incident, the entertainment press is curious as to what his reaction would be.
Darren said he is very much willing to end his feud with him (Labajo) if given a chance to do so.
“Para po sa akin, as much as possible naman… opo, I think everyone wants that naman, e.”
The young singer then again was asked whether or not he still has any form of hatred toward the Buwan hitmaker, he told the entertainment press: “Basta, I’d rather not talk about it here in this type of event.”
Entertainment press’s curiosity to Darren’s reaction to the cursing incident involving JK and one of the attendees of the show, didn’t stop from asking what he has to say about what transpired during the said rock festival.
“For me, the show just goes on and it’s just something na, para po sa akin, it’s just funny, kasi nag-effort pa silang pumunta sa show mo para lang gawin yun sa ‘yo. Gusto ko rin siyang pasalamatan for going there,” he said.
What if someone shouted ‘I Love You’ at him? What would’ve been his response? The young singer replied: “’I love you, too’ kasi andun siya. Ako yung nagpe-perform sastage. Sinigawan mo ako ng ‘I love you,’ babalikan kita ng ‘I love you.”
After the cursing incident, over the past week JK has been boldly pouring out his sentiments regarding the incident on social media.
Feud between the two young male singers started in 2018 when JK slighted Darren on yhe “gaynesss” tweet.
