- Kiray Celis says no to plastic surgery; says she’s contented with her current appearance

Recently in a blogcon for ‘Portrait of My Love,’ Kiray Celis answered a question regarding plastic surgery, if she ever thought of doing such things.
Kiray confidently denied the fact that having surgery can increase her potential as an artist. As long as she has her job and career, she is happy with it, besides, she still has her projects with the appearance she has.
“Kung ‘di mo kaya, magpagawa ka, pero for me, happy ako. ‘Di ako nawawalan ng trabaho, ‘di ko kailangan [magpa-retoke], masaya ako kung ano ako.”
Kiray Celis is also known for portraying “ugly” roles – roles that have ugly appearances and figures. The young actress said that she doesn’t need one (referring to plastic surgery) because she can handle herself for whatever she has to handle.
“Takot talaga ko, nung first time na confine ako because of my UTI, para ‘kong papataytin sa ER kasi nung kinukuhanan pa lang ako ng dugo, [humahagulgol na ko] kasi sobrang takot talaga, sobrang mababa ang pain tolerance ko talaga.”
“Ako ‘yung babaeng not into makeup talaga. ‘Pag may event, mine-makeup-an ako pero ako lang sa sarili ko, hindi ako marunong mag-makeup. Sobrang bobo ko talaga sa makeup, mahilig lang ako manamit, pero ‘di ako mahilig mag-ayos.”
“Wala akong nilalagay sa skin ko, pinakanaaalala ko nang nilalagay is lotion, parang normal lang naman ‘yun? Wala rin kong nilalagay a body or sa face bago matulog.”
She also isn’t into makeup so she really stands for natural beauty. She also said that she is confident and contented with whatever physical appearance she has right now.
