On April 30, during the Kapuso Bangus Festival in Dagupan, Pangasinan, one of the star of the afternoon series ‘Inagaw na Bituin,’ Kyline Alcantara was emotional in announcing that it is about to end in three weeks’ time.
The series also topbilled the award-winning young actress Therese Malviar along with Sunshine Dizon, Marvin Agustin, and more. It had its pilot episode on February 11, and only had three- month run (equivalent to one season).
It pitted against ABS-CBN’s ‘Kadenang Ginto,’ that starred by Andrea Brillantes, Alcantara‘s former co-star in ABS-CBN’s remake of ‘Annaliza.’ ‘Inagaw Na Bituin’ was undoubtedly poor in its ratings compared to Kapamilya’s that soared high.
Despite the tactics of changing the show’s timeslot still it failed to survive in the ratings game.
After ‘Inagaw Na Bituin,’ Kyline Alcantara will have its upcoming movie titled ‘Black Lipstick’ and she will be joined by Migo Adecer and Manolo Pedrosa as her leading men and under the direction of Julius Alfonso.
