Being with someone who the partner is one of the best feelings one can ever have, but would it be comfortable for someone to work with his or her ex when the opportunity presents itself? Kim Chiu was in a long-term relationship with Gerald Anderson but ended in 2010.
Seven years later, the former sweethearts renewed their friendship. Though things are now cool with KimErald, the ex-lovers admitted that it wasn’t a smooth ride.
On Wednesday KapareWho segment of It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda asked co-host Chiu, “Anung mas mahirap, katrabaho mo boyfriend or katrabaho mo yung ex mo?”
The young actress got tongue-tied and failed to answer Vice’s question.
‘Ma, ano, hindi ako contestant dito papunta na ako sa kalahok.. sumasali-sali lang naman kame pero hindi naman kame parte dito, she replied and laughter in between.
A year after the reconciliation with ex-lover Gerald, the two had their teleserye together as a loveteam in Kapamilya network’s Ikaw lang ang Iibigin that paved the way for the two to get close, again.
Currently, Kim is in a relationship with Xian Lim. Both started as on-screen loveteam that led them to becoming real-life sweethearts.
When she was asked if how does it feel to be working with a boyfriend, Kim laughingly answered.
“Masaya naman, galak na galak,” she said.
