The April 21 episode of TBATS garnered a rating of 9.2%, which is significantly higher than Gandang Gabi Vice with 8.2% based on the Kantar Media survey
Comedian Super Tekla is very happy for the achievement of ‘The Boobay and Tekla Show,’ the Sunday night program he is hosting opposite Boobay.
This is after ‘TBATS’ defeated ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ for the very first time in Kantar Media. ‘TBATS’ and ‘GGV’ are both aired every Sunday night. These are comedy shows, basically, for entertainment. With different concepts every episode, these two shows also invite stars as guest to spice up the fun even more.
Based on the National TV Ratings (Urban + Rural) of Kantar Media, the episode of ‘TBATS’ on April 21 garnered a rating of 9.2%, that is higher than the 8.2% of ‘GGV.’
This is the first time that Kantar Media claimed that ‘TBATS,’ a GMA Network show, garnered a higher rating than the rival show, ‘GGV,’ from the Kapamilya Network.
Since then, Kantar Media is identified as the audience measurement of ABS-CBN.
However, in the NUTAM (Nationwide Urban Television Audience Measurement), ‘TBATS’ and other Kapuso shows have many times won over rival shows in the ratings game.
‘TBATS,’ since its first airing, have many times won over ‘GGV’ on NUTAM.

According to Super Tekla, he invested time and effort to his work and it’s a good thing that their show fares well.
“Ah, yes. Totoo, like our show, sobrang kahit anong pagod ko, I give effort, time, binubusisi ko lahat para mahusay. Lahat ng husay talagang pulido. Kaya good thing na on a late-night show, nagri-rate ang show namin ni Boobay.”
Also, the comedian proudly shared how their show almost tied with Vice Ganda’s show last April 14.
“Last Sunday nga, halos umabot kami ng 7.6% [AGB Ratings],” he said while laughing.
When asked if he is making fun of the rival show, he cleared that he’s only happy because the time and effort he invested in his work somehow produced a sweet outcome.
He stated, “Hindi! What I mean, parang ganun lang, e, nag-i-effort ka, ‘tapos nagbunga. Kasi ang tao, kapag naaliw ang tao, pagkahagip niya, ‘Ay, lipat ako,’ mag-i-istay talaga yun.”
