Bea Alonzo gained support from netizens and celebrities after the cheating allegations of her boyfriend Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto resurfaced on the internet.
Gretchen Barretto, Julia’s aunt, showed her support for Bea by giving her comforting words on Instagram.
It was after Bea posted a black photo with a cryptic message: “’You can’t make the same mistake twice, the second time you make it, it’s not a mistake anymore, it’s a choice’ ENOUGH.”
To which Gretchen commented: “I love you my dearest one”
Gretchen is estranged from sister Marjorie, Julia’s mother, who has been defending the young actress from critics.
Gretchen and Bea played sisters in the 2010 primetime drama Magkaribal.
This Thursday, July 25, Bea was thankful again to Gretchen for sending flowers to her.
On Instagram Stories, Bea shared a photo of white orchids in a pot and a card that read: “Sending you love. Love, ate Gretchen.”
“Thank you,” she replied.
Between Maybes stars Julia and Gerald have yet to speak up about the cheating allegations, although Julia’s latest Instagram post implied that she is unfazed by the controversy.
“The difference between coffee and their opinion is – I asked for coffee,” she said on Thursday, showing a photo of herself holding a cup of coffee.
Their rumored affair began during the shooting of the said Black Sheep film and was further fueled after they were seen together at Rayver Cruz’s 30th birthday party last July 20 in a viral photo.
