After his one year stay as part of Sunday PinaSaya, Miguel Tanfelix has decided to leave the show. In the episode of Sunday PinaSaya last June 30, the young actor already bid farewell to the show to pursue his studies.
According to the actor, it was a tough decision since he has learned to love the show and his co-stars but, he wants to prioritize his studies first.
To be able to study, Tanfelix has to sacrifice the Sunday PinaSaya show since Sunday is his only non-working day. His is now on his third year in Entrepreneurial Management at De La Salle University- Dasmariñas.
Despite the fact that they will miss him, his co-stars are happy for the actor and support him in his dream to finish studies and earn a college diploma.
Even netizens supported his exit from the Sunday afternoon program of GMA Network to focus on his education.

Despite giving up the Sunday PinaSaya, Tanfelix will still be seen in Sahaya as Ahmad and in the upcoming movie Family History that will hit theaters nationwide on July 24.
In his more than 15 years in showbiz, Tanfelix was able to showcase his skills in acting, singing, and dancing. He became part of various programs of GMA Network such as Mulawin (2004), Majika (2006), La Vendetta (2007), Langit Sa Piling Mo (2010), Wish I May (2016), and Kambal, Karibal (2019) mostly cast as the younger versions of characters.
Tanfelix rose to fame after joining the reality-based artista search Starstruck Kids in 2004 where he finished as the First Prince (runner-up). Since then, different projects have been offered to him that earned him awards like Pinakahuwarang Artista ng Mga Kabataan, Media Excellence Award, and German Moreno Youth Achievement Award.
Aside from Tanfelix, some artists are also studying while working. Some of them already graduated and earned a degree this year like Yasmin Kurdi, Renz Valerio, and his Sahaya co-star Bianca Umali.
