  • Phillip Salvador lashed out at President Rodrigo Duterte’s critics.
  • Netizens slammed Phillip Salvador for wishing death on government’s critics.

Actor and known Duterte Die-hard Supporter (DDS) Phillip Salvador lashed out at President Rodrigo Duterte critics and told them to just die.

Right before the start of Duterte’s 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA), Salvador was asked for a comment on the red carpet.

A seemingly irate Salvador then lashed out at the critics of the President saying they must all die.

“Ginagawa naman ng Pangulo natin ang lahat para sa ikabubuti ng bansa, para sa ikabubuti ng bawat Pilipino pero binabatikos pa rin siya. Sa inyo pong lahat na bumabatikos: mamatay kayong lahat. Salamat po,” he said.

Salvador was accompanied by actors and fellow DDS Robin Padilla and Bayani Agbayani at the Batasang Pambansa.

Meanwhile, netizens and celebrities castigated Salvador for his comments.

Kapamilya actress and known Duterte critic Agot Isidro said we will all die, it’s just that some die sooner than others.

“Lahat naman tayo mamamatay. Some sooner than others. Agree?” she tweeted.

Spoken word artist Juan Miguel Severo also took to Twitter to air his sentiments regarding Salvador’s statement.

Severo thought that Lino Brocka would not be happy seeing one of his discoveries gone wild.

Bodjie Pascua also didn’t mince words towards Salvador.

Though Pokwang didn’t mention anyone, some netizens think it was her reaction to Salvador’s statement.

Hindi maganda ang mag wish ka ng kamatayan kahit kanino man! sampung ulit or higit pa ang kamalasang babalik sayo. ipagdasal mo ang mga taong ayaw sayo or may galit sayo imbes na isumpa mo.

Here are other comments from the netizens regarding Phillip Salvador’s tirade.

Breaking news: Has been actor Ipe Salvador showed unmistakeable symptoms of infectious arrogance, uncouthness and homicidal behavior from his god.

Bago ka mag wish ng kamatayan ng mga kritiko, matuto ka munang mag sustento sa anak mo, gago!

Ganyan po ba ang demokrasya?

Kung buhay lang si Direk Lino Brocka ngayon baka nasampal ka niya.
