Dani Barretto recently made a comment on Twitter after a netizen spoke about the cheating allegations of her sister, Julia Barretto. Her comment became viral on social media as netizens perceived that Dani revealed her sister had cheated on her former flame Joshua Garcia.
A netizen reacted to a viral photo of Joshua eating alone at an after-party of the ASAP tour in the US which Julia and other Kapamilya stars were also part of.
The netizen commented: “Sino ba naman kasing tao ang gusto pang makasama yung taong nanakit sa kanya? Kahit ako eh mas gusto ko na mag-isa kesa makasama yung taong nanakit sakin at magpanggap na okay.”
Dani then hit back at the netizen while digging up the issue of Joshua’s cheating on Julia last year.
“Oh let me correct myself. Nakarinig ba kayo ng paninira galing sa kapatid ko the the first time he cheated on her too? Oh hindi mo alam yun noh? Marami kasi kayong hindi alam. Kaya manahimik na lang kayo. :)”Dani replied.
Rumors of Joshua cheating came up in 2018 when Joshua reportedly got involved with a mystery girl named Dane, causing trouble for the JoshLia tandem. A screenshot showed that he remarked “Art shot” in reference to a swimsuit photo posted by Dane on Instagram.
JoshLia later reconciled when Joshua apologized to his love team partner.
Dani’s comment became a hot topic on social media as it supposedly revealed that Julia had cheated on Joshua after she used the word “too”.
Reacting to this current uproar in social media, Dani made clarifications to her statements on Twitter and explained its meaning by translating it into Tagalog.
“Let me just clear this sh*t before I sleep and pray for the dark souls of these bashers. Tigil tigilan niyo ng gumawa ng kwento utang na loob. If hindi kayo maka intindi ng english, WAG KAYO MAG IMBENTO. This is the translation in TAGALOG of my tweet earlier…
“Ang ibig sabihin niyan sa tagalog, MAY NARINIG DIN BA KAYO SA KAPATID KO NUNG NAG CHEAT SI JOSH THE FIRST TIME,”she wrote.
Dani has been subjected to criticisms online after she made statements defending her sister,Julia on cheating allegations with her Between Maybes co-star Gerald Anderson.

Not to justify Joshua Garcia's cheating (according to Dani) but if Julia Barretto chose to forgive him before and they both moved on from that issue, why the fuck is Dani Barretto using this he-cheated-first card now?!??!

Last Tuesday, August 7, Julia finally broke her silence about cheating allegations with Gerald. She posted a long statement on Instagram but instead of gaining sympathy, she elicited more hate from the public when she accused Bea of bullying.
A part of her post said: “You can play victim all you want, but I refuse to be your victim.”
Netizens became more doubtful about her statements when her aunt, Gretchen Barretto suddenly claimed that Julia hired a ghostwriter to come up with the statement.
Gerald already aired his statement regarding the controversy but he denied that there was any involvement of a third party in his breakup with Bea Alonzo.
