- Wowowin consistently gets low ratings based on National TV Ratings Survey
For the second time around, GMA Network variety show host Willie Revillame caught a studio audience member sleeping while his show Wowowin was ongoing.
Last January 16, Willie was distracted when he caught one person in the audience sleeping. The audience was asked to keep silent while Willie tried to go near the sleeping man and shower him with a cellphone, jacket, and PHP3,000 to stir him awake.
Last Monday, September 9, another studio audience member was caught by Willie taking a nap while the show was going on.
To wake her up, he offered prizes including Frontrow Soaps, a Wowowin Jacket, Dishwashing Soap, and etc.
“Isipin mo natutulog ka, biyaya ang dumating sa’yo,” he said.
Since the third quarter of this year, Wowowin’s National TV Ratings have been consistently not doing well compared to its rival show, Gangnam Beauty, and newest Kapamilya Network primetime series Pamilya Ko.
The September 9 ratings show that the two rival show from rival network ABS-CBN reigned the time slot with 14.4% for Gangnam Beauty and 18.3% for the pilot episode of Pamilya Ko compared to Wowowin with 15.8% only based on Kantar Media National TV Ratings result.
On Tuesday, September 10, Wowowin ratings lowered to 14.8% but is higher than Gangnam Beauty with 12.8% only. However, the variety show still was not able to beat the rival show Pamilya Ko with a rating of 16.6%.
By September 11, Kapamilya Network’s newest series Pamilya Ko garnered 17.1% rating higher with 2% compared to Wowowin with a rating of 15.1% only.
On September 12, Thursday, the Kapuso variety show earned 16.1%, still not beating the 19.1% rating of Pamilya Ko.
