Sexy comedienne and social media influencer Ethel Booba joked about Mocha Uson’s chances in Tawag Ng Tanghalan.

In an interview during the launch of Tawag Ng Tangahalan Celebrity Champions, Ethel was asked what she thinks of Mocha Uson’s chances if ever she will compete against her in the noontime singing competition.

The comedienne gamely answered that Mocha will not stand a chance and will be easily eliminated.

“Ay wala ligwak na siya,” said Ethel while laughing.

TNT Celebrity Champions edition is part of It’s Showtime’s 10th-year anniversary celebration. It will feature 16 celebrity singers who will battle it out until the Huling Tapatan.

During the interview, Ethel was also asked if she will take the TNT challenge seriously knowing her comedic personality. Ethel said definitely because she wants people to know and realize that she’s really a singer.

“Oo siyempre para ano, para naman may makitang ano makitang, ay onga ano singer nga pala sya, yung ganun. Gusto kong maalala nila na kumakanta pala talaga ako. Singer pala ako gusto kong maramdaman ulit na ganun,” Ethel explained.

Prior to joining showbiz, Ethel has was a singing champion on ABC5’s Sing Galing.

Meanwhile, when asked about her chances and if she will seek support from her over a million followers, Ethel confidently said that if the contest will be solely judged through online votes, she’ll be a sure winner.

“Pero kung padamihan ng boto baka panalo na agad ako eh,” she said.

Last Friday, October 11, Ethel already graced the stage of Tawag Ng Tanghalan.

Singing The Beatles “Help,” Ethel was crowned the winner beating three other contestants Songyupsal, Alex Castro, and Marlo Mortel.
