Last September 30, Eat Bulaga host and Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza visited the ABS-CBN compound for the very first time with her Isa Pa With Feelings leading man, Carlo Aquino.
In a Facebook Live by Black Sheep, a Black Sheep staff member welcomed Maine as she happily stepped through the doors of the Eugenio Lopez Jr. Communications Center.
“Welcome to ABS!” said the Black Sheep staff member.
“Uy grabe! Is this real?” Maine exclaimed as she couldn’t contain her excitement.
Maine ran into Carlo as she headed to the elevator lobby. Carlo also happily welcomed Maine as they got into the elevator. Carlo even took video to document the visit.
Maine even joked, “Di ko in-expect na makakapasok ako sa elevator! Haha!”
Carlo replied humorously, “Okay naman?”
Maine answered in jest, “Okay naman so far. Well-lit naman!”
Recently, another Kapuso star visited ABS CBN, too. Maine’s former on screen partner Alden Richards visited the network for the promotion of his movie with Kathryn Bernardo, Hello, Love, Goodbye.
At the media conference of Isa Pa With Feelings, Maine was asked what she feels about going solo as an actress and letting go of their phenomenal love team, AlDub with Alden,
“Okay din po siya. Parang naisip ko na it’s a chance to grow and explore working with different actors from different networks.”
Maine extended her thanks especially to GMA management which allowed her to work with ABS-CBN and to Black Sheep for choosing her
“So nagpapasalamat po ako sa aking management na pinayagan akong gumawa ng pelikula under Black Sheep, and sa Black Sheep po kinonsider po nila ako.”

Maine also thanked her leading man, Carlo.
“And kay Carlo kasi pinagtiyatiyagaan mo ako, maraming salamat.”
Maine first became known as Yaya Dub on TAPE Inc.’s Eat Bulaga and as Alden’s love team partner.
Earlier this year, the two decided to go their separate ways to pursue their individual projects.
