Split Queen Mystica seems to be dismayed over Jaya’s decision last October 8, 2019 to “gong” Shirley Fuentes for not singing the Aegis’ “Luha” properly.
Mystica also revealed that in August, ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime invited her to join the Tawag ng Tanghalan Celebrity Showdown. She said she will only accept the noontime show’s offer only if Jaya competes with her one-on-one.
“Pwede akong sumali sa tawag ng tanghalan at kantahin din yung kinanta ni Shirley Fuentes na LUHA basta si JAYA ang kalaban ko. I DARE HER! Kung biritan din lang ng LUHA, siguradong paluluhain ko lang si JAYA! AKO ANG KAKATAY DIYAN!”
Netizens are furious about Mystica’s challenge to Jaya and have concluded that the Split Queen is only seeking attention to get new projects.

Mystica stated she doesn’t feel the need to prove her singing ‘profession’. For her, it’s more than enough to be labeled as Rock Diva and Split Queen.
“Wala raw akong career kaya i-risk kong ipa-GONG ang sarili ko sa Tawag ng Tanghalan! Ang tanong, magkano? Sa halagang barya-barya lang tapos ipakatay ko ang sarili ko sa mga judges na kapwa ko rin celebrities? For what? I don’t need to prove my singing profession anymore! Tama na ‘yung Rock Diva at Split Queen na ako! Hindi ko na kailangang maging ‘Gong Diva’ ano! Mas kailangan ng lola niyong rumaket kaysa magpa-gong gong na ‘yan!”

To commemorate its 10th anniversary, It’s Showtime proudly presents a special edition of Tawag ng Tanghalan where 24 celebrities will compete in a singing contest.
Among the other stars who have performed for this special edition are Ara Mina, Mike Luis, Patricia Javier, Anton Diva, and Marlo Mortel.
