Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Grand Winner Marcelito Pomoy is set to compete in America’s Got Talent: The Champions Edition. For his upcoming career challenge, Marcelito is now asking for full support from his fellow Filipinos and his avid fans.
Marcelito posted on his Instagram, “Guys, this is it. Ito na ‘yung pagkakataong hinihintay ko. So please abangan niyo po ako.”
He also narrated how difficult it is to join the contest as it includes all the champions from all over the world, and emphasized that this edition of America’s Got Talent is not the typical show.
“Sobrang hirap na laban dahil puro champions ng iba’t iibang bansa ang makakalaban ko. Hindi ito ‘yung ordinary seaong lang ng ‘Got Talent. Piling pili po ang nakakalaban dito. Kung kaya sa tulong at suporta niyo, lalo’t higit sa inyong dasal, nawa’y tayo ay makapag-perform hangang sa huli.”
He continued: “Actually sa audition round lang, masaya na akong maibahagi ang aking talento sa buong mundo, pero kung papalarin na makaabot sa grand finals, mas masaya siyempre. Please pray for me.”

Marcelito’s wins
After he won in Pilipinas Got Talent, the 35-year-old singer with a golden female voice also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last year and met his all-time favorite singer Celine Dion.
He has released two albums since Duet Yourself as his first debut album by Star Records and Split in 2013.
