- Miguel Tanfelix is open to a possible pairing with Kisses Delavin
- He was the former love team partner of Bianca Umali
- He recently earned recognition as part of GMA Network’s Walk of Fame
In a presscon held last December 12, Miguel Tanfelix shared his thoughts on being one of the Kapuso stars who earned their Walk of Fame stars from GMA Network.
“Nagulat po ako, kasi before ang dami niyo nang nakikitang nagwu-Walk of Fame, dun sa Eastwood, and diyan sa [GMA] main building.”
The actor also expressed his gratefulness to his home network for including him in the new batch of Walk of Fame stars.
“Siyempre sobrang saya ko po and nagulat po ako na meron pa palang mga next batch na mga stars, and very thankful po talaga ako sa GMA, kasi ever since…
“Parang since five years old po yata ako nandito na ako sa GMA, so ang sarap po sa pakiramdam na dito na po ako lumaki, and then finally, meron na po akong star sa Walk of Fame,” Miguel said.
Miguel is also happy that his former onscreen partner, Bianca Umali, gained the recognition along with him.
“Kumbaga, since bata po kami, sabay kaming nag-a-achieve ng mga bagay-bagay, so everything na na-achieve namin since before, parang we share it with each other.”
How does Miguel react to fans who still ship them as a couple?
“Oo. Bakit? Hindi ko po alam sa kanila,” the actor laughingly replied.
Despite their separation as a love team, Miguel said he still wants Bianca as his onscreen partner.
“Well, ako happy po ako na katrabaho si Bianca, like always.Kahit sa mga simpleng guesting, parang wala nang kapaan na nangyayari.
“Basta alam namin dama namin ang isa’t isa.”
Bianca is currently being linked to Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid, but fans are still hoping to see more of the BiGuel love team.
He clarified, “Well, hindi ko po masasabi kung ano po talaga nasa future, but…”
“Okay po kami ni Bianca ngayon as friends, and ako ngayon, haping-happy po ako dun kung ano po meron kami ngayon.”
The actor dished out that he is set to make future projects but still uncertain about his leading lady.
“Ay, hindi ko po sure. Parang may sinabi lang po sa akin pero hindi ko pa po alam kung sinong kasama, anong story talaga. Pero may nabulong po sa akin.”
When asked about his ideal partner for a project, Miguel responded with, “Sino gusto kong i-partner sa akin? Siguro yung someone na kalog siguro, someone na kalog para madaling ka-bonding sa set.”
After signing a contract with APT Entertainment, Kisses Delavin is now rumored to become a GMA artist. Miguel said that he is not closing his doors on a possibility on being paired with her.
“Actually, hindi po kami magkakilala, but we saw each other na sa isang awards night, and… why not?
He added, “Kasi okay naman po siya, and nakakita ako ng ibang clips niya sa APT [Entertainment, Inc.] before, so… cute lang. Why not! Yes.”
Apart from Miguel, many fans are also requesting to pair Kisses with Kapuso Chinito Heartthrob David Licauco. With a percentage of 47.8%,h e won a fan-made poll where Twitter netizens voted for the actress’ potential love team partner. Among the actors chosen were Miguel, Jak Roberto, and Manolo Pedrosa.
