Debuting as the main dancer of the influential South Korean female act Girls Generation, Hyoyeon made her solo debut on December 1, 2016 with her song “Mystery” which was well received by her fans and came back with another power track titled “Wannabe”, after that she returned to the music scene not as Hyoyeon but as DJ HYO with her track “SOBER” on April 18, 2018, following her most recent release “BADSTER” with two versions a Korean and English track and announced that she will be actively promoting as a DJ domestic and internationally.

Switching from being the main dancer of her successful group Girls Generation to being a sought for club DJ, DJ HYO has been dominating the clubshow scene with her remarkable DJ sets and remixes of her group’s hit songs.
With her debut to the club show scene she has been performing in the hottest clubs and biggest music festivals. Mentioning some of the places that she has performed, Macao, Malaysia, Taipei, Japan (Fukuoka, Sapporo, Shinjuku), Taipei, Philippines (Cebu), and her most recent festival the Legacy Festival in Singapore Sentosa Siloso Beach.
During her debut as a DJ she already been added to the top 100 best DJANE in Asia, with her placing on the 3rd spot with other famous DJs and 55th spot on the 100 best DJANE in the world.
She has made a name for herself in the world of DJs and has already collaborated with the famous DJ 3LAU for her song “PUNK RIGHT NOW” during the release her song “PUNK RIGHT NOW” it took the #1 Spot in many countries and #47 in the whole world, while during the release of her song “BADSTER” it also took the #1 Spot, which made her a powerhouse in the club show scene.
