Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is telling those who are financially blessed that this is the most ideal time to help people who are in need, including the daily wage earners, jeepney and tricycle drivers.

As per Kris, no one deserves to starve especially during this crisis and enhanced community quarantine due to COVID-19.

As of the moment, Kris and her two sons Bimby and Joshua are staying in Puerto Galera, due to the imposed lockdown on the whole of Luzon.

She was able to donate 25 sacks of rice to the drivers who are greatly affected by the public transportation suspension.

mahaba pa ang laban, pero hindi masamang magpasalamat. 1st time na kaming 3 lang, kuya josh, bimb, and me… naghanap ng mga kaibigan dito and thank God Alvin & Rochelle found us some of the kindest people. I praise God, the pediatrician, Dr delos Reyes checked bimb again- upper respiratory infection & bronchial asthma. No pneumonia, no fever, pero matamlay kasi maraming gamot na iniinom. Tinutulungan ako ni Check & Randy (from willie), ni ate Loida & her family, ni nurse Mona, and the very kindhearted Mayor of Puerto Galera, Mayor Rocky Ilagan. Maraming salamat sa staff ng resort na tinutuluyan namin (i’ll name the place & share pics pag okay na). And thank you sa mga taga Mercury na tumutulong talaga para mahanap ang maintenance na gamot ko. Sobrang mabait & welcoming ng mga taga Puerto Galera- sa lockdown na ito they have made us feel secure, welcomed & cared for. God bless you all. I pray for all our healthcare workers. Many have become my close friends & i salute their heroic efforts. Romans 8:NIV [28] And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

As a matter of fact, Kris posted her conversation with Puerto Galera’s Mayor not to brag, but to encourage financially blessed to provide help in the community.

She reiterated that she plans to donate 100 sacks of rice however, she can’t withdraw as the nearest bank is an hour away from her current place in Puerto Galera.

i am posting this hindi para magpa bida- kasi konti lang ito, dapat 100 sacks of rice pero malayo ako & hindi maka withdraw ng mas malaki because more than 1 hour away yung mga bangko where i have accounts kaya umaasa muna sa ATM … this is the time na yung mas na bless financially, sana gumawa ng paraan na tulungan ang mga mas nangangailangan sa abot ng makakaya… magdamayan tayo ngayon dahil LABAN nating lahat ang #covid_19… hindi tama na ang mga kapwa Pinoy ay magutom sa panahon ng lockdown dahil yung daily wage earners hindi makapagtrabaho. 😢 P.S. NAGAWAN na po ng PARAAN to make it 25 na KABAN ng BIGAS kasi nalaman ko kung gaano karami ang umaasa sa tulong na mabibigay ng LGU ng Puerto Galera.
