Lorna Tolentino reacts to ABS-CBN franchise renewal; spills what goes on behind the scenes of ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’

Lorna Tolentino who portrays the role of the First Lady Lily Anne Cortez-Hidalgo on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano has finally reacted to the controversial ABS-CBN franchise renewal.

Lorna wishes that the giant network will be able to operate continuously and its application for another 25-year franchise will be granted.

The veteran actress reiterated that it’s not only the artists who will be greatly affected by the possible closure of the network, but also the 11,000 employees of the channel including the employees to ABS-CBN’s subsidiaries.

Moreover, when it comes to Eddie Garcia Law that prohibits anyone in the entertainment industry from overworking and dictates a specific number of hours for actors, Lorna confirmed that the giant network implements the law up to this day.

“Yes and kasi since hindi lang naman yung mga seniors, 4 hours for the children, 8 hours for the seniors pinapatupad naman nila ‘yon.”

However, there are days that the production team allows celebrities to pack up early and there are some instances when they request for an extension of 1 to 2 hours just to complete a scene.
