Sam Milby is currently making noise online because of his latest post on his social media accounts.
After a photo of Sam with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray was uploaded, many fans speculated that the two are already dating.
“Worth every second of the wait. Most special birthday yet [heart emoji],” Sam wrote in the caption of his post on Saturday, May 23.

It was just a day ago when Milby was left speechless and “kilig” over a surprise birthday greeting from the Miss Universe 2018 winner during a Facebook Live show of Cornerstone Entertainment, CSTV Presents: Lunch With The Stars, hosted by Milby’s friends, John Prats, and comedian Pooh, for his 36th birthday.
The beauty queen told him: “Hey, Sam! Happy, happy birthday. I hope that you have an amazing year ahead. More birthdays. More happiness. You are loved by so, so many.”
Milby was visibly smiling from ear to ear, and as her words caught him off-guard. It took him a while to say, “Thank you. Yes, you are very special. Very special.”
It was in 2018 when rumors romantically linking Gray and Milby first began as photos of them together circulated online.
However, the rumor was bellied by Gray’s talent manager, who is also Cornerstone Entertainment Inc. president Erickson Raymundo.
Her business manager clarified that nothing was going on between the two and their meeting was just a “coincidence” as they were both talents of Cornerstone Entertainment.
It was when he invited Gray and her family to a farm he owns in Tanay, Rizal, and Milby happened to be one of the few guests he invited, too.
Despite Raymundo’s effort to clarify what’s going on between the 26-year-old beauty queen and the 36-year-old actor, rumors linking them didn’t stop. Rumors grew when Catriona posted several photos taken during her surprise birthday party on January 7, of which one photo stood out because of a ‘mystery guy’ she was with. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to speculate that it was Sam.
Allegedly, Gray and Milby were meeting secretly whenever they have spare time.
The former had already clarified this issue, saying that she and Milby are just friends who go to the same church and are under the same talent agency, Cornerstone.
During her guesting in Tonight With Boy Abunda, the Miss Universe 2018 winner said, “Sam naman, we go to the same church, we’re under the same management, so friend naman siya.”
Nonetheless, their management, Cornerstone is the number one shipper of the #CatSam love team.
