‘Kaya, please, nakikiusap po kami.’ Coco Martin calmly appeals to the public to cooperate with gov’t policies during COVID-19 crisis

Far from his impassioned speech during the #LabanKapamilya online protest, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano star Coco Martin calmly appealed to the public to cooperate with the government amid the COVID-19 crisis.

The 38-year-old actor pleaded with the public to abide by the government’s guidelines for suppressing the COVID-19 pandemic.

He made his announcement through a video recording on the online program Promdibate of Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles last Monday.

It was gentle and calm Coco in the two-minute video compared to his impassioned speech last May 8 during the #LabanKapamilya online protest against the ABS-CBN Shutdown, “Kung ako po ang tatanungin, hinde ko mapaliwanag at hindi ko po alam kung paano magsisimula dahil sobrang galit po yung nararamdaman ko.

He even called out on the government for the injustice faced by ABS-CBN and urged others to speak out against the assault on freedom of the press.
