Kapuso actress Manilyn Reynes calmly responded to netizens who found her face shield as “too much”.

On Thursday, June 25, the 48-year-old actress posted a photo where she can be seen wearing a black full-face shield with a handkerchief inside while inside a grocery store on her Instagram account.

She wore personal protective equipment in compliance with the health protocols.

The Kapuso celebrity captioned her post with: “Let’s be responsible and considerate. By wearing our protective gear, we protect each other😊🙏🏻💕 #staysafe #faceshield #mask #protecteachother #beresponsible”

Her post garnered various reactions from Twitter users. Some netizens agreed with the Pepito Manaloto star and even lauded her for sharing her knowledge with others through her social media accounts.

“Very responsible dapat lahat ganito.”

“Wearing is caring.”

“It’s cool.”

“Importante e yung safe ka at safe din ang nakakasalamuha natin.”

“Basta kung san ka feeling safe yun ang gawin mo. Ako nga gusto kong lumabas ng bahay ng nasa loob ng drum hahaha. Wag lang mahawa. Everyone is OA these days. Kaya deadma ka na lang sa bashers.”

Unfortunately, a certain netizen felt that Reynes’ face shield was too much, describing it as “overacting (OA).”

The actress calmly responded to the netizen’s comment by saying, “Basta safe po.”

Meanwhile, other netizens made fun of Reynes’ face shield.

“Love it, parang power ranger lang ang dating..”

“Luh di na makita fess mo lodi.”

“Kala ko alien…stay safe manash.”

“RoboCop na hehe.”

“That’s funny but for safety’s sake go go go.”

Meanwhile, Kapuso star Sheena Halili was also called “OA”  by netizens after sharing the precautionary steps her family is taking just to ensure that they are COVID-free especially when they go home from work.

Even R&B and Soul Princess Kyla was labeled as “OA” after sharing the paranoia she went through because of the on-going pandemic.

“Kung may PPE lang ako, yun talaga suotin ko para mag grocery. Sa panahon ngayon, wala na yata akong pake sa magiging itsura ko  the paranoia I had to go through these past few days was just  yoko naaa ma feel ever again.”
