A netizen called out Angel Locsin for not helping employees that were allegedly illegally dismissed from ABS-CBN.
He commented on the Locsin’s Instagram post, “@therealangellocsin BAKIT HINDI KA LUMALABAN PARA SA GA ILEGAL TINANGGAL NA EMPLEYADO NG ABS-CBN gaya ng news reporter NG WENG HIDALGO? Akala ko ba Makabayan ka? For show lang ba yon? @therealangellocsin”
The netizen added, “NEVER KA NAMIN NARINIG NA LUMABAN O NABANGGIT MAN LANG UNG MGA ILEGAL NA TINANGGAL NA EMPLEYADO NG ABS-CBN? Puro ka na lang 11k employees @therealangellocsin NAPAPAHALATAAN KA TULOY NA LAHAT NG PAGTULONG NA GINAGAWA MO AY FOR SHOW LANG”
Another netizen agreed and said, “..thats the thing I don’t understand… they (are) all asking us to pray for ABSCBN.. but what about sa mga naapi ng ABSCBN?? @therealangellocsin you always fought kung anu ang tama but this time you decided na maging bulag at binggi?? You kept saying kapamilya but the ABSCBN doesn’t know how to treat employees fair.. Kayo lang may mga pangalan ang may benefits.. panu yan nagtratrabaho more than 8 hours.. kayo meron comfortable room when you shoot and all eh panu yung mga reporters at camera an na asa fields 24 hours nagtratrabaho na walang benefits dahil indi sila regular.. panu yun?? You keep praying to give ABSCBN another chance pero yun mga pinapahirapan ng company niyo nabigyan ba ng another chance or something? Everything happens for a reason.. I am praying for JUSTICE. Wag kayo maging bulag sa mga taong pinahirapan ng ABSCBN.”
The Kapamilya star responded by saying, “Even though, wala pa ho ako sa abs nung nag start yung ibang kaso, nag try naman po ako to reach out. Pero dahil po may case na on going, minabuti po ng kausap ko na wag ng ituloy ang usapan bilang abiso na rin po ng grupo nila.”
