Now that they are on one Network, again, the newest Kapamilya star Janine Gutierrez shared her thoughts on a possible reunion with her former love team Elmo Magalona.
In 2013, Gutierrez and Magalona became acquainted with each other when they first starred together in the now-defunct GMA afternoon series Villa Quintana.
Their tandem became a success which prompted a real-life relationship as they became an official couple. They admitted in public about their relationship in October 2014 during the promotion of their follow-up primetime series More Than Words.
More Than Words was their second and last teleserye together before Magalona’s network switch to ABS-CBN in November 2015.
The actress was supportive of Magalona’s decision to transfer network, but later became an issue in their relationship.
In October 2016, Gutierrez confirmed that the absence of time for each other made her call-it-quits their two-year romantic relationship with the singer-actor.
A few years later, the acclaimed actress surprised the public as she signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN and became an official Kapamilya in January 2021.
Now that she is also a Kapamilya, is she willing to work with her former love team partner and ex-lover Elmo Magalona?
“We’ll see. Ako, I trust Dreamscape. I’m just so grateful to be given the opportunity to be here. At kung sino ang ipapartner at isasama sa akin, game! Laban!” she said during her first virtual press conference as a Kapamilya on Tuesday, February 2.
The actress put her trust in Deo Endrinal‘s Dreamscape Entertainment. She said that she is willing to work with whoever the partner is as she is grateful for the new opportunity given to her.
