In the media conference for MOR Entertainment, hosts Mary Jay, Jeri B, and Bettina Briones shared their stories when they heard the news of their return through a different platform.

Mary Jay said she felt grateful and honored with the decision of the Kapamilya Network. She also added that they moved to online platforms for their colleagues who lost their jobs due to the ABS-CBN shutdown.

“Grateful! We are very much grateful and honored to be as the chosen ones para ipagpatuloy, ang magandang plano ng Kapamilya Network for us.

“We are doing this, of course, for our colleagues,” said Mary Jay.

Ateng Jeri B also added her thoughts, saying that she feels for those colleagues who lost their jobs. She also said that they retained the communication lines open with said colleagues.

“For everyone, na nakasama natin for so long sa radyo, it’s really not easy to let them go. Until now, nakikipag-communicate pa din tayo sa kanila,” Ateng Jeri B addded.

She also said that their team pioneering the move to online platforms is trying their best to make the shift work so that their colleagues could return, too.

“We are like seeds na tinapon kung saan, anywhere tutubo yan. And, we are going to do our best para makabalik sila.”

Finally, DJ Betina recounted her emotional reaction when she received the news of the shift to online platforms.

“Share ko din lang talaga kung ano yung naging reaction ko nung sinabi sa akin oy, maiiwan ka. Sabi ko talagang ganyan, (shocked reaction) tapos bumuhos na yung luha sa akin. Kasi nakondisyon ko na yung utak ko eh,” Betina shared.

She also added, she felt excited as she’s part of ABS-CBN’s new chapter.

“Grabe yung saya, tapos yung saya na na-excite ako tapos bigla akong kinabahan na maging parte ako ng libro ng ABS-CBN,” enthused DJ Betina.

Mary Jay, alongside Ateng Jeri B, helms the daily talk show, Good Time ‘To, together with Bong Bastic and Macky Kho every Monday to Friday at 9 am.

Betina hosts the love advice program, Dear MOR, with Popoy every Monday to Thursday at noon via Facebook and KUMU. They also post highlights on YouTube and have a podcast on Spotify.

Mary Jay, Ateng Jeri B, Macky Kho, Bong Bastic, Popoy, and Betina are talented hosts who pioneered MOR Entertainment. Alongside other hosts — Chico, Chinaheart, Daddy Sarge, David Bang, Erick D., Jacky G, Kisses, Kokoy, Grasya Pantasya, Master James Spider, Nicki Morena, Onse, Popoy, and Tito Son.
