Recently, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez said she missed Geronimo on the show.
In her opening spiels with other hosts and guests last Sunday, she assured the new ASAP member Janine Gutierrez (a confessed Sarah Geronimo fan) of the Popstar Royalty’s comeback.
“Alam mo, parating na si Popster… si ano, si Sarah. Parating na, mga… basta… abangan natin. Nagpapahinga lang ngayon ang ate mo, kasi alam mo na, kakakasal lang!”
Another hint of the singer and actress’s comeback is when her music company, Viva Records, revealed that she is going through new material for her new album this year.
A&R and head of music production head of Viva Records, Civ Fontanilla, revealed that they already forwarded 10 compositions by seasoned and upcoming artists to Geronimo for study and approval.
“The concept is along the line of unleashing more of her artistry and sound. Andun na siya actually, it’s more of sustaining it and giving it a heightened new flavor.”
Fontanilla, who collaborated with Geronimo in her previous albums, said that the music wrap consists of ballads, mid-tempo songs, and R&B shades.
In their new collection, Fontanilla envisions a ‘more confident’ and ‘more personal’ Geronimo who will release more energy and vibrate as a woman in the new stage of her life.
Adding to the speculations of her return, a Viva Entertainment insider told that Geronimo is still adjusting as Mrs. Matteo Guidicelli, but is still very much in the game, “Nagpahinga lang siya talaga.”
