Reports about the Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza for having tested positive for COVID-19 recently circulated online.
Her absence in her regular show on GMA Network, Eat Bulaga, added the possibility that the reports are true.
With this, her fans expressed their concern for Mendoza’s current condition. Some of them became furious with this unconfirmed news that got published by a news site.

In the news report, the author said that the information came from an Eat Bulaga! insider. However, he also emphasized that such news is to be verified first.
Until now, Eat Bulaga! or Mendoza has yet to release a statement regarding the said matter.
Maine’s latest appearance in the noontime show was on March 10. Since then, she has been absent from the noontime show.
If this is true, she will be the third Eat Bulaga! host, who tested positive for COVID-19, following Allan K and Wally Bayola‘s previous admittance on contracting the virus.
