Vice President Leni Robredo has earned praises from netizens after successfully mounting her call for volunteers for the Office of the Vice President’s Bayanihan E-Konsulta project.
In a tweet on Wednesday, April 7, Robredo happily announced that after just 24hrs since the call, registration for volunteers surged causing them to temporarily closed the registration process.
According to Robredo, more than 2,300 volunteers have already signed up for the project.

Bayanihan E-Konsulta is a free teleconsultation platform available via Facebook and Messenger where patients especially those with limited resources and access to medical services can get free medical assistance from health professionals.
Meanwhile, after the surge of volunteers netizens can’t help but praise VP Leni for inspiring people to help.
Most of the netizens regarded Robredo’s type of leadership and people’s trust in her and her programs thus the slew of volunteers even in just a little time.

One netizen even compared Robredo to the DOH. The netizen said when Duque and the DOH called for volunteers there were only a few who have heeded the calls while Robredo was able to sign-up more than 2 thousand in just a span of 24 hours.
