As the year 2021 started, rumors surfaced that Mocha Uson got impregnated by her fellow die-hard Duterte supporter (DDS) Robin Padilla.
For a long time, the actor remained mum about it, but recently, the actor finally spoke about it involving him and Uson.
Padilla said that he has huge respect for Uson, being one of the solid Duterte supporters, and as DDS, they will never get themselves involved in such an issue that might affect taint the President’s image.
“Si Ma’am Mocha po, isa po yan sa ginagalang natin na talagang number one DDS po yan. Talagang saludo po tayo d’yan sa pagmamahal niyan kay pangulong PRRD.
“Kami pong dalawa hindi naman po kami siguro gagawa ng – number one, kahihiyan sa mahal na Pangulo.”
He then thanked those who wrote articles or blind items about them since those gave them publicity.
“At kung ano man po ‘yong tsismis na ‘yon, proud po kaming dalawa at na-blind item kami. At least po doon, sinabi sa blind item na mga sikat. Kaya proud na rin po kami dahil napabilang kami doon sa sinasabing mga sikat na ganito. Kaya maraming salamat doon sa artikulo na ‘yon.”
Once and for all, the actor denied the rumors involving him and Uson.
“Pero wala pong katotohanan ‘yon. Ginagalang ko po yan si (Mocha), lahat naman po, kahit ‘yong iniibig ko e, ginagalang ko rin. Pero ibig ko pong sabihin doon sa usaping ginagalang ay ‘yon pong kanyang s’yempre alam ko din naman po na kung sino ‘yong nagmamahal sa kanya.”
Previously, Mariel Rodriguez, Robin’s wife, fumed over the issue and called it ‘baseless.’
She also said that people should have given Robin some time to grieve since his brother just passed away when the rumors sparked.
Mocha also denied the speculations about her and Padilla. She then felt sorry for Mariel and Robin for being dragged into the issue.
She then diverted that issue and blamed the opposition party. She asserted that the spreading of the rumor was politically motivated to destroy Duterte and his allies.
“Alam ng lahat na ako at si sir Robin ay masugid na suporter ni Pangulong Duterte kaya nalang sinisiraan kami. Kulelat kasi sa survey ang pambato nilang si Robredo kaya kung ano ano paninira ang iniimbento nila,” she wrote.
