Through Twitter, the beauty queen amused netizens as she shared a meme referencing her blooper during the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 pageant on Sunday, July 11.
As she announced the Top 13 semifinalists, Catriona accidentally pronounced Meiji Cruz’s place of origin as Venezuela instead of Valenzuela City.
“Catriona” and “Venezuela” then became trending topics on Twitter following that day.
Her blooper spawned a lot of memes on social media, and most of her fans became fond of her even more.
