Vice Ganda gifts house helpers with P100,000 in ‘Everybody, Sing!’

“Everybody, Sing!” turned emotional on Sunday (July 11) as Vice Ganda surprised the house helpers who served as the show’s songbayanan with an additional P100,000 for their cash prize.

After guessing only two songs correctly, the group only managed to get P10,000 in the jackpot round. However, since house helpers are close to Vice’s heart, she gifted them with more cash as gratitude for their noble work and to raise the amount that the songbayanan will split among themselves.

According to Vice, although house helpers did not dream to be in their current jobs, what’s important is they are working hard to give themselves and their families a brighter future.

“Nasisiguro ko maganda ang intensyon ninyo. Ang intensyon ninyo ay mapaganda ang buhay ninyo at buhay ng mga mahal ninyo,” Vice said in admiration in the community singing game show that airs on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, at TFC.

Even viewers were touched with the plot twist that happened in “Everybody, Sing!.” This is the second time that Vice showed generosity on the show. In June, she also gave away P50,000 to janitors and cleaners.

“God bless you always Meme and good health always. Napakabuti mo sa tulad naming mga kasambahay,” said YouTube user Chares Lahum.

Meanwhile, live online sellers got to take home P40,000 when they took the challenge to be the show’s songbayanan on July 10. Vice also lauded the group’s ability to find ways to make a steady livelihood this pandemic.

“Gusto ko iparating ang paghanga ko sa inyong lahat. Dahil sa inyong abilidad at kakayahan na hindi magpagapi sa hirap ng sitwasyon,” Vice explained.

The program also recorded multiple trending topics including Vice’s looks as Marilyn Monroe and Moana.

Next week, comedy bar performers and teachers will sing their hearts out in their quest to bring home the half a million jackpot prize. Will luck be on their side? Find out in “Everybody, Sing!” hosted by Vice Ganda and featuring the resident band Six Part Invention every Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, at TFC.
