The developing sitcom of John Lloyd Cruz and Andrea Torres that will air on GMA Network features the same vibes and concept that of ABS-CBN’s Home Sweetie Home.
The pre-production team is already on the move amid the speculations the new sitcom of Cruz with Torres will not push through on the GMA Network and the TV host Willie Revillame, who announced his backing out of the project.
Torres is Cruz’s love interest in this project.
Sandy Andolong and Benjie Paras will join the upcoming sitcom. Direk Bobot Mortiz will be the director and line producer.
Torres already expressed that she is excited to work with John Lloyd, but the actress is still waiting for the official announcement from the GMA Network for its confirmation.
Cruz will be an official Kapuso actor soon as a formal announcement is yet to occur to seal the deal.
So far, Cruz’s upcoming sitcom is the only project that GMA Network is vocal about. No other projects lined up for Cruz’s stay in GMA Network.
Home Sweetie Home paved the way for Cruz and Ellen Adarna to have a relationship, where the two ended up having a child.
