How forever saw its start with Grab
Eldridge Policarpio, a Grab delivery-partner, had been meaning to wed his partner of ten years, Richelle Favor, since 2019. However, with the unexpected onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the quarantine protocols that have since been set, the couple – like many others anticipating their special day – were forced to hold off the ceremony.
“Magpapakasal na dapat kami ng partner ko na si Richelle, kaso nga lang hindi natuloy dahil sa pandemic. (Me and my partner Richelle were supposed to get married, but it didn’t push through because of the pandemic),” Eldridge Policarpio said.
Gone were the plans and preparations they had set in place to make their wedding happen. Over the course of the last two years, the couple kept an eye out for the opportune moment to finally get married, only for it to be consistently pushed back. As such, their small family had ultimately no choice but take it one day at a time, all the while hopefully waiting their turn.
This was the case until August this year, when Grab caught wind of his and Richelle’s situation and decided to bring their dream wedding celebration much closer to their reach. After a few weeks of prepping and planning behind the scenes, the stage was finally set – the moment Eldrige and Richelle had been holding their breaths for had finally arrived.

And so last September 26, their much-awaited celebration was finally brought to life. The quaint venue was filled with flower arrangements and decorations all created by Flowers by Ginger that made the celebration picture-perfect, with everyone enjoying scrumptious dishes and desserts brought by TGIFridays and Scout’s Honor and sparkling beverages from Ram’s House of Wine to complete the celebration.
Wishing the couple a great start to their forever, the reception also had a sweet ending with a cake from Celebration Cakes by Mary Grace as well as special tokens from The Humble Market, Dean & DeLuca and Wildflour Pantry. A limited number of immediate family members were also invited to be a part of their celebration, so that they too could get to be in the moment with the lucky couple. Filled with laughter and merriment, the wedding was all they had only dreamed out two years ago and more.
