On September 2, Pinoy Big Brother Team LAYF Lou Yanong, Yamyam Gucong, Fumiya Sankai, André Brouillette reunited in Star Magic Lounge Season 2.
The iconic group of friends from PBB Otso finally got reunited after years of pursuing their respective careers.
Lou initially hosted the Star Magic Lounge episode, teasing three surprise guests. She then revealed each of them, starting with Yamyam, then Fumiya, and then Andre.
The four then virtually bonded with two rounds of truth or dare and advice sharing to aspiring PBB housemates.
Finally, they parted, with each sending out a message for every member of Team LAYF.
Yamyam started his message for Lou, hoping that she doesn’t change.
“Unang una, Lou ang mensahe ko sayo ay wag kang magbago. Stay who you are at hopefully magkakatrabaho tayo soon.
“Thank you so much na nakilala kita sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya. Alam ko hindi ka magbabago. As your kuya, andito lang ako pag may kailangan ka.”
He then sent his message to Andre, noting the PBB housemate’s kindness.
“Andre, sobrang saya ko din na nakilala kita sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya. I’m so thankful and napakabait mong tao. Sana ipagpanalangin ko sa Diyos na magkita-kita tayo.”
Then, he shared his message to his spiritual brother, Fumiya. He thanked Fumiya for his genuine personality during their stay in the PBB house.
“Lastly, my spiritual brother. Fumiya I’m so happy nakatrabaho kita, nakilala kita sa loob ng bahay. You’re genuine person, you’re pure. Thank you, thank you so much for everything.
“I’m so happy na nakilala ko kayong tatlo sa bahay.”
Lou then took her turn, starting with Yamyam. She expressed her joy that Yamyam didn’t give up his career in showbiz.
“Kuya Yamyam, I’m so happy you didn’t give up. At some point, I know you wanted to, at masayang masaya ako na hindi ka sumuko hanggang dulo at until now.”
She then gave her message to Fumiya, echoing Yamyam’s message.
“Fumiya, you’re also a great person. There’s no fakeness, and I really appreciate that. Thank you so much. And I’m so happy that you achieved your dreams.”
After that, Lou gave her message to her ex-boyfriend Andre. She expressed her happiness for her former boyfriend, seeing that Andre is pursuing his passion.
“Andre, I’m happy that you’re happy. That you’ve been traveling, that you’ve been doing things you want to do. And, I’m happy to see your photos. You’re smiling (and) you’re happy. Thanks for being an important part of my life.”
After her, Fumiya then shared his message to Team LAYF, starting with Andre. Fumiya expressed his hopes of seeing his friend while admiring Andre for his travels.
“Andre, I miss you, talaga. Seeing your posting, your beach, in beach and like travel, travel. Very–I want to go there talaga. Jealous talaga, I’m so happy that you’re great there. I hope to see you soon.”
Fumiya then gave his message to Lou, noting that he is happy to see Lou happy.
“Lou, ikaw kamusta ka, kasi minsan we chat, that’s why I’m so happy, parang real friends talaga. I’m happy. You’re very happy, happy.”
He then gave his message to Yamyam, hoping he can travel into the Philippines to join Yamyam.
“Yamyam, I’m happy you’re so good. And you’re many shows. And sana, I’m hoping to join you there. I miss working with you, talaga.”
Last, Andre sent his message to TEAM LAYF, starting with Fumiya. They conversed in Japanese. But, he expressed his hopes of reconnecting with TEAM LAYF.
“Fumiya, bro, I miss you.
“And I can trust you, and I haven’t been able to talk with a lot of you guys.
“That’s why I’m happy that this life came together so I can reconnect with you guys. But Fumiya, I’m very proud of you. Talagang, you don’t give up. You’re a hard worker.”
He then thanked Yamyam for listening to him and allowing him to open up to the former PBB housemate.
“Yamyam, I thank you for being there for me. Being someone that I can feel comfortable with, talking to you. I know that whenever I open up to you, your heart is in a good place.”
Finally, he gave his message to his ex-girlfriend Lou, saying it’s good to see her shine. He also wished her success and good in life.
“Lou, good to see you’re shining. I know it’s been a long time since we talked. But I’m just so happy to see you’re continuing and growing and achieving new things. I want to let you know that kahit whatever has happened between us. I do wish you good. And success in life.”
In January 2021, Lou and Andre confirmed their breakup after almost two years of relationship after PBB Otso. Their virtual meet was the first time the former couple appeared publicly after their breakup.
