The newest Kapuso Kim Atienza revealed that he is a fan of the comedian Michael V. and it is his wish to guest in the comedy show Bubble Gang.
On October 5, during the virtual mediacon of GMA Network’s official launching of Atienza as a Kapuso, the seasoned broadcast journalist shared that is also his wish to try doing comedy.
He idolizes Michael V. and is a fan of GMA Network’s longest-running gag show Bubble Gang.
Atienza also revealed that he has known Michael V. for a long time already. Michael V.’s father used to be the aide of Kim’s father, Lito, so, they are connected ever since.
“Gusto kong magpatawa lang doon. Tawang-tawa ako sa Bubble Gang. Isa talagang henyo si Bitoy,” Atienza said.
As a fresh Kapuso, Kim has already received three projects or works under the GMA network.
Kim will have his segment on the GMA primetime news program 24 Oras. He will also join Camille Prats and Iya Villania in the morning talk show Mars Pa More.
Kim will also do a program with GTV, which is titled, Dapat Alam Mo with Patricia Tumulak and Emil Sumangil.
Despite the ‘hate’ he got due to his unexpected decision of shifting to GMA network, Atienza remains confident with his network transfer and said that his move was at the perfect timing.
“Ayun ang tamang weather ng pag-goodbye ko, at pagpasok ko. Talagang eksaktong-eksakto. Kung nahuli ako ng ilang araw, maaaring hindi mangyari.”
