The Crystal Voice of Asia, Sheryn Regis, wished on October 15 that she and the other original champions of Star in a Million would have a concert together.
“Kami yung mga original champions, gusto ko silang maka-collab again,” said Regis during the media conference for her upcoming digital concert Love United: A Sheryn Regis Digital Concert.
She said that she wanted to perform together with Rachelle Anne Go, Sarah Geronimo, Christian Bautista, Erik Santos, Mark Bautista, Jed Madela, and Frenchie Dy.
Regis already performed together with Star in a Million season one grand champion Erik Santos during her comeback concert in 2020.
“Because the last concert I had before sa Music Museum, nakasama ko naman si Erik Santos. At hindi s’ya nag-atubili na magsabing ‘Yes She ‘coz I want to support you sa Music Museum concert’ na comeback concert ko last year.”
This time around, the singer would like to have the original champions be together for a concert that would be dubbed “Love Reunited.”
“So gusto ko sana, hindi lang si Erik kundi lahat kaming original champions. I wish.”
Regis rose to fame after winning as runner-up in the first season of Star in a Million. Her song Come in out of the Rain trended on TikTok as many users tried to sing it as part of a challenge.
In the meantime, her upcoming digital concert is coming on October 24, and tickets are available via ktx.ph. It will be a three-hour event starting from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
