Cinema One is treating movie lovers to a drive-in screening of the critically-acclaimed film “Spencer” about a tense Christmas holiday in the life of the late Princess Diana as portrayed by American actress Kristen Stewart.

Happening this December 4 (Saturday) at the Ayala Malls Vertis North, families and buddies can have a pre-Yuletide celebration by watching Pablo Larrain’s film “Spencer,” which refers to the late Princess of Wales’ maiden name. The movie chronicles the events that led to her decision to end her marriage with Prince Charles and her mental health problems during a Christmas holiday with the royal family in Norfolk, England.

First Showing described “Spencer” as “a cinematic work of art” while The Guardian said that it is “rich and intoxicating and altogether magnificent.” The movie was included in this year’s official selection for the Venice Film Festival, Telluride Film Festival, and Toronto International Film Festival.

“Drive-In Cinema One Christmas” is perfect for those who would like to have a one-of-a-kind movie-going experience. Viewers can have a fun time watching the featured movie and also join the games in the comfort of their own cars.

Tickets for the drive-in cinema experience can be purchased via TicketMelon, priced at P600 with up to three pax per car, to P800 with up to four pax per car. Gates will open at 6PM while the film showing will start at 8PM.

Usher in the holiday festivities by enjoying a safe movie night with your family and friends at the “Drive-In Cinema One Christmas” this December 4 (Friday) at the Ayala Malls Vertis North!
