Toni and Alex Gonzaga took turns sharing on Friday, December 25, the things they wish to remove from each other’s respective personalities.
Alex wanted to erase her older sister’s “stiffness,” hoping it would lead to Toni being a little bit “loose.”
So mas gusto ko yung mag let go siya, maging mas open,” she said during The Exorsis‘ virtual media conference.
She then revealed that Toni was an introvert, preventing her from opening up to many people. With her stiffness gone, Alex figured it would make others understand her sister better.
On the other hand, Toni hoped to have Alex’s loudmouthed toned down.
During the making of The ExorSis, Toni and Alex also discovered that the film was among the few projects where they did not argue.
Toni even said, “Parang mas nagkaintindihan kami dito sa pelikulang ito.”
Meanwhile, Alex shared a time where she showed her maturity. She recalled how her sister tried to annoy her by joking that she could be an insect repellant.
“Although may isang time na parang yung inis-stayan namin, may mga insect. Sabi nang ate, pumwesto daw ako sa may insect. Pero hindi ko na lang siya pinansin. Sabi ko, ‘Huh? Ayokong mainis.'”
Toni and Alex never grew apart despite bantering and having families of their own as they always kept each other updated.
“Laging may time kami ni Alex for each other.
“We may not be physically together all the time, pero yung communication namin, laging tuloy-tuloy.
The ExorSis is under Fifth Solomon’s direction and includes Dennis Padilla, Kat Galang, Joel Saracho, Tess Antonio, Kedebon Colim, Isay Alvarez, and Melai Cantiveros.
It is produced by Viva Films and is included in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
The ExorSis will premiere in cinemas nationwide, December 25.
