PLDT Global Corporation (PGC), the international unit of the Philippines’ largest fully integrated telco PLDT, continues to reward overseas Filipinos and empower its business partners with Paskong Panalo with OFWins.

Following the successful run of OFWins which wrapped up in August, the next wave of OFWins is still part of a broader program of PLDT and Smart that aims to provide the best customer experience to the overseas Filipino market through various platforms and offerings. This time around, more prizes will be given away to OFWs and their families during the holiday season.

Every Friday from December 3, customers can play games and participate in the activities during the OFWins Facebook Live game show on the Smart Load Abroad Facebook page and win gift certificates from sponsors. Valid raffle participants can get a chance to send a Pasalubong Package to their families back home with electronic gift certificates worth P3,000, P5,000, and P7,000. Lucky customers can also win Noche Buena packages consisting of electronic gift certificates worth P5,000, P10,000, and P15,000 for their families this Christmas season during the grand draw on December 17.

Beginning November 23, 2021, customers overseas who want to join can do so by purchasing a minimum of P100 Smart or TNT prepaid load from any of the participating distributors or dealers. They can also buy any PLDT Fam Load Plan (P199 to P1499) or make any bills transaction with companies under the MVP Group such as Meralco, Maynilad, PLDT, Smart, and Cignal via Free Bee Pays to get a raffle entry. Customers can also buy any amount of Free Bee PINs on PayMaya, or Cignal Plans (P200 – P1000) from any of the participating dealers. After every transaction, the customer can claim their raffle entry by filling out the registration form to get the unique raffle entry code.

To join, simply visit www.facebook.com/SmartLoadAbroad for more details.

“Christmas is the time of the year where most OFWs are preparing to send their balikbayan boxes back home, however, due to the pandemic and other reasons, some may not be able to go home and be with their families. Through the OFWins campaign, we hope that we can bridge the gap between families and help them stay connected despite the distance,” said Albert V. Villa-Real, SVP and Chief Commercial Officer at PLDT Global.

“This campaign also allows us to empower our partner distributors by giving them another opportunity to engage with customers in their area, especially during this peak season,” he added.

Smart Load Abroad

As part of PGC’s goal to help improve the lives of Filipinos abroad, customers overseas can enjoy the convenience of reloading their international phones through the Smart Load Abroad Facebook page, powered by PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc (Smart).

Smart Load Abroad (facebook.com/smartloadabroad) enables the overseas Filipinos to send cross-border mobile top-up to their loved ones through the simplified experience of chatting with the Facebook page. Customers simply need to tap the Send Message button to activate the chatbot, and choose to buy Smart or TNT load, Free Bee call plans, or pay Philippine bills while they are abroad.

This initiative for overseas Filipinos falls under PLDT’s group-wide commitment to Awesome Customer Experience and Quality of Service, one of the seven pillars that comprise the company’s sustainability framework. With the UN Sustainable Development Goal #9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure as PLDT’s SDG anchor, OFWins is aligned with the company’s sustainability focus area of connecting everyone, everywhere.
