On Thursday, January 6, former Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 housemate Shanaia Gomez was lauded by esteemed director Andoy Ranay for her performance in an upcoming episode of the anthology series Click, Like, Share.
In the virtual media conference of the upcoming series, Direk Andoy pointed that Gomez was already at “par” with seasoned actors such as Nikki Valdez.
“It’s so easy to work with Shai coz’ she is so interested doon sa work itself and she has the skills. She’s a very intelligent person. She listens so well sa instructions palang and nakukuha niya agad. Parang hindi siya first-timer. Parang ka-batch niya sina Nikki Valdez, charot” he stated.
The director was also impressed by her professionalism, stating, “She’s very professional and para siyang clean-slate na pumasok tapos ready to observe and ready to absorb things around her. She did well really.”
The show is her first acting project after PBB. Gomez was extremely grateful for the opportunity, especially when she worked with Direk Andoy.
“I’m really blessed that this is the project that I get. Working with Direk Andoy was a really really great experience, I loved it so much. Sana, sana, there are more coming soon, we’ll see,” wished the young talent.
Gomez will be starring alongside award-winning actress Belle Mariano in the show’s installment Swap. The 19-year-old young artist was amazed by how talented her co-star is.
“I love working with Belle. She’s so great, she’s so fun, and I feel like I learned a lot from her, especially since this is my first acting. Of course, I like Belle. Super, super talented.”
The show’s third season will also feature Vivoree Esclito in QR Code, Elmo Magalona and Jane Oineza for the episode Unseen, and JC Alcantara for Repair.
Click, Like, Share will begin Wednesday, January 12, at 8 p.m., on iWantTFC.
