Menace seethes in Prima Donnas’ return to GMA Network’s afternoon block, one year since the top-rated drama aired its last episode. On the pilot episode of the show’s sophomore season, peril, chaos, and darkness, no longer pose a threat to the Claverias, but it’s easy to tell such a phase is doomed to end sooner than they hoped.
Kendra (Aiko Melendez) is now awake, so is her wickedness. Now preparing for married life, Lillian (Katrina Halili) and Jaime (Wendell Ramos), are hell-bent to put Kendra behind bars. They have been noticing how the relationship of the three girls has changed, and Lillian believes that the three are slowly veering away from them and each other.
Kendra still holds on to her grudge against the Claverias. She vows to come back and exact her revenge on every single member of the clan. Bethany (Sheryl Cruz), her estranged stepsister, returns, promising to be with her, and not leave her ever again. Cruz’s character remains a mystery, but it’s not difficult to guess she will soon take over’s Melendez’s role as the main antagonist. Melendez will soon be barred from appearing on any show, once the campaign season starts. Melendez is gunning for a Quezon City Congressional seat in the 2022 polls.
As much as viewers are intrigued about what chaos Bethany is set to unleash on the Claverias, Sofia Pablo’s role, Lenlen, seems to be also making a surprising turn in this season. It will be interesting how that change will impact the current dynamics of the three girls and their relationship. The budding romances of the young heiresses with their respective love interests should also become a major attention-grabber. Kapuso teen heartthrobs, Will Ashley, Vince Crisostomo, Bruce Roeland, Allen Ansay, are part of the show’s ensemble cast.
