The rising Kapamilya star conveys a message of courage and determination for all dreamers in her latest music video.
Belle Mariano declared her intent to never back down by the first line of her inspiring new single, Rise, whose music video got released on the evening of January 24.
“Even when I’m told no I don’t take that for an answer” the words of the anthemic track said.
It perfectly captured what the fast-rising star must have been living by, in the past decade. After slowly climbing the ladder of fame, the young actress is finally at the forefront, ready to soar to superstardom.
Rise is already the third single under Belle’s debut album titled Daylight to release a music video. StarPop, her music label, previously released the music videos of hit singles, Sigurado and Tanging Dahilan. The release came earlier of her highly-anticipated upcoming concert, which is slated to stream via KTX.PH on January 30.

Mariano is among the very few young actresses of her time who can sing, making her a rare specimen of massive talent and exceptional beauty in one body. A mid-range belter, Belle stands out better with her butter-coated vocals. We have heard her both hit the low register with ease and reach for her vocal ceiling through her tasty head voice, but undeniably a mid-range diva, and it’s not gonna be a problem.
In Rise, she’s as powerful as the track requires her to be, and she’s as vulnerable, too, as the song has inspiring words to boast of.
The actress, alone, is an aesthetic treat. She shines massively in the music video, which takes her as solely its selling point, although she gets reinforcements by the light and dreamy setting.
Rise is a pledge, an anthem for those who perpetually confront rejection in their lives yet remains steadfast to move forward and pick up the pace.
It’s a promise that Belle seems to be telling to her doubters. “I’m on the rise...” she declares in the song, and it isn’t hard to believe, because that’s what she has been doing, in the past year.
She is rising, but at a pace, not too many in her time have ever pulled off. And with her first major concert already around the corner, we witness yet another compelling manifestation of she must have been dreaming since her first foray into showbiz.
