AJ Raval admitted that she and Aljur Abrenica are not yet officially in a relationship via a series of Instagram Stories on Monday, February 28.
Answering a question from a fan, Raval said that she and Abrenica are happy in their current status. She added that she will inform the fans if ever their relationship gets official.
“Kayo na ba?” one follower asked Raval.
She replied: “Sobrang cool lang namin ni Aljur, masaya kami sa mga situation namin. May mga priorities at problema na dapat unahin.
“Huwag ka mag-alala, ‘pag official na, updated ka.”
Another netizen questioned why she chose to be with Abrenica despite the criticisms.
“Bakit si Aljur?” another follower asked Raval. “Kahit nakakasira sa career mo at naging masama ka pa sa ibang tao dahil sa kanya?”
Raval said she is not giving importance to the opinions of others.
Raval’s response: “Hindi naman importante sa akin ang opinyon ng ibang tao. Ang importante, ang opinyon ng malapit na tao sa akin.
“Sana makita niyo si Aljur kung paano ko siya nakikita. Napakabuti ng puso ng taong ‘yun, kung paano niya mahalin ‘yung anak niya, ‘yung pamilya niya, kung paano siya tumingin sa mga tao — pantay-pantay.”
Raval and Abrenica were spotted together in a resort in Leyte on Monday, February 14. However, the female star earned criticism as netizens speculated that they spent Valentine’s Day together.
Kylie Padilla was previously in a relationship with Abrenica. They were married for about two years and had two children together.
They broke up in April 2021 when Robin Padilla confirmed it in an exclusive interview with Ogie Diaz on July 7 in the same year.
Following this, Abrenica and Raval’s photos spotted Hh holding hands while walking (HHWW) in a mall spread online. It sparked relationship rumors between the two stars.
Raval also exposed the real score with Abrenica. She admitted that he is courting her.
Abrenica starred in a sexy drama with Cindy Miranda called Nerisa, wherein Raval was also part of the cast.
