Fandoms went all-out in their support for their favorite idols during the voting period (January 31 to February 27) for seven categories on push.abs-cbn.com/vote. Being truly digital, Push Awards is also awarding for the first time its winners with unique and special digital trophies in the form of NFTs or non-fungible tokens.
Fans of Donny and Belle continue to show their support as DonBelle won the Push Popular Love Team of the Year. Vice Ganda and Kim Chiu, meanwhile, were hailed as Push Social Media Personality of the Year and Push Content Creator of the Year, respectively, for spreading good vibes and positivity on social media.
Jodi Sta. Maria was honored for the Push Favorite Onscreen Performance of 2021 for her portrayal of Marissa in “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin,” while breakout P-pop group BGYO was recognized as the Push Music Personality of the Year for bringing entertainment to their fans with their inspiring music and performances.
For the Push Inspiration Award 2021, the only category which isn’t fan-voted, Push management selected Filipino weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz for bringing pride and honor to the country as the first ever Filipino to win an Olympic gold medal.
Meanwhile, Anne Curtis, whose stories about motherhood inspire netizens, bested Elisse Joson, Janella Salvador, Andi Eigenmann, and Dimples Romana as the Push Celebrity Mom of the Year, while online sensation Esnyr Ranollo won in the Push Trending TikToker of 2021 category.
