On March 18, Kapamilya artist KD Estrada admitted that he wanted to impress Alexa Ilacad with his first leading role.
During the media conference for the iWantTFC original Bola Bola, Estrada revealed Ilacad’s reaction to his character in the series.
“She didn’t give me any tips. But she told me to–of course, give it your 100%, bigay mo lahat. Siyempre kasi first acting na lead ako.”
He then admitted that he wanted to impress his love team through his acting.
“Of course, I want to impress Alexa kasi siyempre ang tagal n’ya dito. So I want to show off din.
“Acting tips, wala naman siyang specific na binanggit. But, she did say, based on the trailer, my eyes were very expressive. So that’s good. At least I got a good comment from her.”
He then teased about their upcoming series together, Run To Me.
“I wouldn’t say unplanned, binigay sa akin ‘to noong nasa loob pa ako ng bahay. So ‘yung KDLex super unexpected.
“When the time comes, me and Alexa would have big-time projects together, like series, sana magka-movie kami. Pero, there is a planned series na po this March, this late March– Run To Me.”
Estrada and Ilacad recently top-billed their sold-out FanCon event in February, proving that they’re one of the Kapamilya loveteams to look out for in 2022.
Estrada stars in the iWantTFC original series Bola Bola alongside Francine Diaz, KD Estrada, and Ashton Salvador.
The digital series based on Anna Geronga’s best-selling love romance also include Analain Salvador, Danica Ontengco, Vance Larena, J-Mee Katanyag, and Arlene Muhlach.
