Janine Berdin’s global breakthrough continues with more Lab Songs Ng Mga Tanga

Few debut albums continue growing months after their release, but LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA has become the rare exception. What began as a deeply personal collection of songs evolved into one of the year’s most talked-about OPM releases, fueled by passionate word-of-mouth support and the viral breakout of “What if I Miss You For the Rest of My Life?”. As listeners continued discovering the album across different parts of the world, its themes of modern love, loss, and longing proved that heartfelt songwriting could resonate far beyond language or geography. Rather than slowing down, the album has continued to find new life with every listener who discovers it, reaching audiences in the US, UK, and other parts of the world.

To celebrate that remarkable journey and thank the fans who embraced the album from the very beginning, Janine now unveils a deluxe version of LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA with MORE LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA. More than an expanded release, it is her way of giving back to the community that transformed a deeply personal record into something much bigger than herself. The deluxe features four brand-new tracks—”Friendship Over,” “Mirisi,” “PROMISE!!!,” “Uneasy”—alongside the highly requested live studio version of “What if I Miss You For the Rest of My Life?” Together, they broaden the emotional landscape of the original record while offering fans new stories to hold close.

Following its release in July, “PROMISE..!!!” anchors the deluxe edition as one of Janine Berdin’s most emotionally vulnerable songs, tracing the fragile line between heartbreak and obsession through a desperate plea to hold on to a fading love. Opening the album’s new chapter is “Friendship Over,” an intimate pop confession that transforms the quiet pain of growing apart into something universally relatable, with Janine’s signature wit and emotional honesty shining through every lyric. “Mirisi” follows with one of her most ambitious releases to date, effortlessly weaving together English, Tagalog, and Bisaya to showcase a style of storytelling that transcends language. The collection also features an updated version of “Uneasy,” where crunchy guitars, punchy drums, and soaring hooks amplify the emotional whirlwind of falling for someone whose mixed signals blur the line between friendship and something more. Rounding out the collection is the long-awaited Live in the Studio version of “What If I Miss You For The Rest Of My Life?”, stripping the viral favorite down to its rawest form and allowing every lyric, breath, and emotion to resonate with even greater intimacy.

The release also sets the stage for Janine Berdin’s biggest career milestone yet: her first-ever headline concert on October 7. More than a live performance, the show serves as the culmination of the LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA era, bringing together the songs and stories that have defined this chapter of her career. For the first time, the ever-growing community of mga tanga will gather in one place to celebrate the music that has become part of their own lives, creating a night that is as much about the fans as it is about the artist.

For Janine Berdin, MORE LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA is both a celebration and a turning point. It captures an artist who trusted her own voice, stayed true to her songwriting, and discovered that the most personal stories often travel the farthest. No one knows what the next era will sound like, but if this chapter has proven anything, it’s that Janine’s journey is only beginning—and the ever-growing community of mga tanga will be there for every story still waiting to be told.
