Kuh Ledesma said she chose to support Vice President Leni Robredo over other presidential candidates in the 2022 elections during the grand campaign rally of Robredo and vice-presidential candidate Kiko Pangilinan on Friday, March 4.
Ledesma revealed she was urged to sing Ako ay Pilipino in the campaign of another presidential candidate, but she assured Robredo is her presidential bet.
“Pinapakanta ng ‘Ako ay Pilipino’ sa ibang campaign, hindi ko po gagawin yun. Pero para kay Leni Robredo ang aking puso,” Ledesma said.

The veteran singer-actress was among the 47,000 ‘Kakampinks’ who attended the Kiko-Leni campaign held at General Trias Sports Complex.
“Tonight was an experience because it was my first time on VP Leni Robredo’s campaign stage and in fact my first time to openly campaign for any candidate,” Ledesma wrote on Facebook.
She also used the hashtags, “#LetLeniLead, #KulayRosasAngBukas, #LeniKiko, #PeoplesCampaign.”
“Ma’am, I love you so much,” Ledesma said to Robredo.
