GMA News anchor Raffy Tima on Tuesday, March 22 shared a cryptic post about a politician who maligned his opponents by peddling misinformation.
In a tweet, Tima wrote, “Been receiving press releases favoring a certain candidate and attacking his opponents. But the content are all obvious disinformation, manufactured data and twisted facts.”

He then “reminded” his fellow journalists to be critical when accepting press releases.

Meanwhile, some netizens were doubtful about his statement.
“Naming them will be better at kung anong disinformation ang pinapakalat nila para matuto at makasuhan na rin. Kahit kaninong kampo pa ‘yan,” commented a netizen.
Another was also unconvinced, urging the broadcast journalist to name the politician.

A netizen pointed out that given the pronoun “his,” it is unlikely that Tima referred to Vice President and presidential bet Leni Robredo.
